[Video comes on to Ran Fan sitting on the bare mattress of a big, real bed in a real bedroom all of her own-- her first of either. Everything is empty and bare and off-white, but this being the condos, it's a far cry from her borrowed closet-bed in the Stowaway berths. This place is swanky dammit. And it's her first!]
I have been assigned to a new room. Roommates of 3-2, I thank you for putting up with me and taking care of me. Especially you, Badou. Yusuke Uru... [not even going to try to say it] I meant it, if you are hungry, come to 5-1. I will make sure you have something to eat.
I see that my new roommates here will be... Gon. And Roy Mustang. [deadly serious face, and she bows formally to the camera] I hope that we will live together well. I will do my best to be a good roommate to you.
[She gives a prim nod and then turns away from the camera to look wistfully at her bare box of a bedroom. And she sits up a little straighter, her shoulders back and her chin a little higher.]
